The Belleville Advertiser was a newspaper published in Belleville, Ontario for a few years. The publisher had, I think, run a newspaper in the Maritimes, sold out and then started up a paper to compete with the one he sold. He ended up putting out the Advertiser from his home in Belleville. It seemed to take off a bit after the demise of the Belleville Times, a short lived weekly paper.
