Hockey at the Moosonee Arena 2009 December 15th.
Note, this was not a regulation game, no goalies and no officials and more than one puck on the ice at a time.
It was my first attempt at shooting hockey with a Canon EOS 7D (700-200mm f2.8 IS lens without IS in use). Shots in this gallery were in camera jpg's. Cropping and standard sharpening in lightroom. Shots taken at either ISO 3200 (1/400-1/500 f2.8) or ISO 6400 (1/500 f4.0). Single focus point with expansion (usually centre point). White balance by expodisc, lights in area do not maintain consistent colour temperature so there is some variation among shots.
