Pictures taken during a visit to Peawanuck, Ontario in 1991. Peawanuck is a new community that was build to replace Winisk which was destroyed by a flood. It is the home of the Weenusk First Nation and is located up the Winisk River from Hudson's Bay in Northern Ontario.
