1990 Moosonee march in support of Kanesatake
During the Oka crisis in 1990, the Moosonee Native Friendship organized a march to show support for the people of Kanesatake. The march started off at the Friendship Centre and headed to the bridge over Store Creek where the supporters stood on the road for a few minutes.
