Polar Bear Express, mixed train operated by the Ontario Northland Railway between Cochrane and Moosonee. Pictures taken 2017 August 6th in Moosonee. The train runs five days per week all year and Sundays in the summer. It takes about five hours for the 186 mile trip. The current version of the train started in 2007 when it replaced the summer only excursion train of the same name and the year round mixed train sometimes called the Little Bear. The train carries flatcars for vehicles, passenger coaches, baggage car, boxcars and a snack car.
